1.) Dysfunctional Camera Mounting

I expected quite a bit more from Lorex, as I have used many of their products in the past, but this enclosure is a total FAIL. The design of the mounting system for a camera is a complete joke, whoever designed this needs to be escorted to the nearest exit and sent back to design school.
A plastic plate is included and, in theory, you are supposed to mount your camera to that plastic plate which in turn, in theory, snaps into the bottom of the enclosure. I say "in theory" because if you cannot use the (one) included mounting bolt for your specific camera you simply cannot use this mounting system! The molded "ridge" which houses the external mounting nuts prevents the use of any standard camera mounting bolts in the inside - there is not enough clearance for a standard size bolt head! Ridiculous, I say. How hard would it have been to design the mounting plate with maybe 1/16th of an inch more clearance? Maybe if Lorex had actually tested their mounting system with various cameras they would have noticed what a joke this system is.
So - unless you want to drill a hole through the bottom of the enclosure (as I will probably be doing) in order to mount your camera inside of this enclosure, or if you are lucky enough to have a simple camera mount, save yourself the frustration and buy another brand of enclosure.
This Lorex enclosure suffers from a design flaw so basic, and so obvious, that it is evident the moment you open it up. If that weren't bad enough, the cable feed through is too small to pass a BNC or RJ45 through without cutting the cable and reattaching the connector, so it is pretty much worthless as well.
Bottom line - something so simple as a camera enclosure should not be nearly this frustrating. The Lorex design is a complete failure for my application (which is not anything out of the ordinary). Lorex, you let me down. You fail.
